The function of the connecting rod of the automobile engine is to transmit the gas pressure on the piston to the crankshaft, so that the reciprocating linear motion of the piston becomes the rotary motion of the crankshaft. The connecting rod consists of three parts: the small end of the connecting rod, the shaft of the connecting rod and the big end of the connecting rod.
The role of the car oil pump is as follows:
1. Pump the oil in the oil pan to the oil filter and lubricating oil passages after pressurization to lubricate the main moving parts of the engine and filter the oil. When the engine is working, the oil pump works continuously, so that the oil circulates continuously in the lubricating oil circuit.
2. Since the speed of the oil pump is directly proportional to the engine speed, the oil supply capacity of the oil pump is the worst at low speed. There are two types of oil pumps used in automobile engines: gear type and rotor type.
The function of the piston is to withstand the gas pressure and transmit it to the connecting rod through the piston pin to drive the crankshaft to rotate. The top of the piston is also an integral part of the combustion chamber.
The role of the engine cylinder head is:
1. Close the upper part of the cylinder to form the combustion chamber;
2. It is the support of the camshaft, rocker shaft and intake and exhaust pipes;
3. It sucks the air into the cylinder, and the combustible mixture is ignited by the spark plug , to drive the piston to do work, so that the exhaust gas is discharged from the exhaust pipe.
The cylinder gasket is the seal between the top surface of the block and the bottom surface of the cylinder head. Its function is to keep the cylinder seal airtight, and keep the coolant and engine oil flowing from the body to the cylinder head from leaking.
Eliminate the resonance generated when the engine is working; reduce the hydraulic oil pressure.
The main function of the idler is to change the steering of the driven wheel, increase the transmission distance, adjust the pressure angle, etc.
